Being a highly contagious disease influenza is easily transmitted via:

  • or indirect contact – with droplets from the nose and throat of an infected person during sneezing or coughing.

In order to prevent the spread of influenza use the common safety measures:

  • Cover your nose with a tissue (not your hands) while sneezing or coughing. After that be sure to through it away immediately.
  • Wash your hands regularly with a soap. It reduces the risk of the spread of the infection.
